The United States does not have an official language, but more than 82% of the population speaks English as their native language. That is very interesting, because most of people seem English as the official language of the United States, and because of the United States, English can become our global language after World War II. There are two kind of English being spoken in the United States, one is American English, another is Canadian English, but they all count North American English though.
 Spanish is the second most common language in the United States, and is spoken by over 12% of the population. The United States holds the world's fifth largest Spanish-speaking population, most of those people are lived in Southwestern United States.
  German language is ranks fifth in the United States, in the early 20th century Italian, Polish, and Greek are still widely spoken but when the older generation passed away, those language become less to be spoken. Russia is also spoken by immigrant population.

Useful Words: 1.Generation: All of people living at about the same time. 2.Immigrant: A person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country. 3. Rank: A number specifying position in a numerically ordered.
